What is Family of Faith?
Family of Faith is our ministry of faith formation for families with children. The primary way a child grows in faith is through the witness of the family in the home. We seek to provide quality materials and a framework of support for Sacramental preparation and growth in each member of the family’s understanding of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.
Registered families are currently offered a Community Night once a month (4th Tuesday of the month; please see calendar button below) beginning in September. Community Night begins with Mass at 6:00 pm and continues in our Faith and Family Center with activities and snacks for the whole family.
This year our activities will be based on the Mercy box from Faith and Family Life Catholic Ministries (see fflcm.org for more information about their materials). The Mercy box will give you quality materials to connect in meaningful ways as a family in the comfort of your own home while exploring the corporal and spiritual works of Mercy. At Community Night, we will be building on these activities by doing service projects together (such as clothing sorts, blessing bags for homeless, honoring our deceased loved ones, etc).
Another component of our Family of Faith ministry is memorizing prayers and information about our faith using the By Heart Prayer Deck from Faith and Family Life Catholic Ministries. See fflcm for examples of the card deck. Children and families can earn prizes by completing each level! All families in Family of Faith should have at least one By Heart Prayer Deck for their use.
To register for Family of Faith, complete the form below. Only one form is needed for each family and the registration fee is $225 for each family (regardless of whether your child is making sacraments or if you have more than one child participating in Family of Faith). You can use the WeShare button for payment or send cash or check with a registration form to Julie Bando in the parish office.
If you have children who will also be beginning, or continuing Sacramental Preparation, or are middle school ages (grades 5-8) click on the icons below for more detailed information on each component of our Family of Faith ministry.
Contact Julie Bando with questions about our Family of Faith Ministry.

Family 1-on-1 Meeting
We Want to Meet You!
The Family of Faith team is excited to get to know each family in our parish. This summer, we’re offering one-on-one meeting times to connect with you and learn how we can best support your family's journey toward Jesus and His Church.
These meetings help us better walk alongside you in faith and ensure your family feels seen, supported, and encouraged.
Please sign up for a time that works for you.
We look forward to meeting you and walking with your family—this year and beyond!
Please see the First Reconciliation and First Communion section, below, for information about preparing for these Sacraments.
