Clinical Counseling

Counseling and healing available here at St. John Neumann

Roman Catholic and Nondenominational Christian Counselors offer faith-based professional counseling services to St. John Neumann parishioners and as an outreach to our surrounding community. All counselors are licensed by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist Board and combine standard clinical counseling practices with the beliefs, practices, and spirituality of our Church to provide a thorough and Christ-centered approach to healing. Counselors provide services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families to promote healing, personal growth, loving relationships, and faith-filled lives.

The counseling office is located on the lower level of the parish office building with its own access door to ensure privacy and ease of access. Those interested in inquiring about counseling services are asked to contact the counselors directly using the information provided on the website or parish bulletin.

Many health insurances are accepted and reduced fee schedules may be available to those who do not have insurance.

The counselors act also as a resource in the establishment and continuity of parish-based peer support programs and other parish activities.

All counseling services are offered in a confidential and professional manner with the goal of helping individuals and families improve their lives and relationships by strengthening their spiritual, emotional and physical well being.

We pray that God bless the services we offer here, and bless you as you continue to grow in a deeper relationship with Christ.

* These counselors are not on the SJN staff. Rather, they are practicing Catholics who are licensed counselors/social workers. They are with counseling groups that allow them to offer their services in satellite locations. Their counseling services are offered on a fee or insurance basis. Seeing their counseling service as a ministry, they can offer a reduction in their fees based upon financial need. No person will be turned away because of finances. Please consult with them regarding these matters if you have questions or concerns. The parish does not receive any portion of their fees nor does it charge them rental fees for the use of office space.
