Family of Faith (PSR)

Share an adventure of faith with the entire family! For 1st-4th Graders

What is Family of Faith?

Family of Faith, for families with children in grades 1-4, brings St. John Neumann families together monthly on the first Tuesday of the month at 6 pm, October-April, to worship together at Mass, learn about the life of Jesus Christ, His teachings, and our Catholic Faith. We invite you to attend! At home, parents will help their children fall in love with Jesus as they journey toward Heaven as a family.

Please see the First Reconciliation and First Communion section, below, for information about preparing for these Sacraments.

Contact Christina Weber, Family of Faith Director, with questions about our Family of Faith Program for grades 1-4.

Fill out the registration form below and mail into the parish office or email to Julie Bando. The cost per family is $225, regardless of the number of children or family members participating.

First Reconciliation and First Communion

Beginning in the fall of 2023, preparation for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion will be a 2-year process.

The 2023-2024 school year will be our transition year. This means that those children who are entering second grade for the 2023-2024 school year will maintain a 1-year Sacramental preparation.

Beginning with the 2024-2025 school year, no matter the grade level, the student will begin a 2-year Sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation and First Communion. For example, if a second grade student joins our program in the fall of 2024, he or she will prepare for the Sacrament of First Communion during both second and third grades, with receipt of the Sacrament in the spring of third grade.

Materials for both programs are provided as part of the tuition and are supplied by the Faith and Family Life Catholic Ministries and will be distributed at a Parent meeting.
