Your Help is Needed for the Fish Fry!
The SJN Men's Group Fish Fry is every Friday from March 7 through April 11. It takes a lot of support throughout the entire week to deliver those delicious meals every Friday, and we are asking for your help! There are opportunities to assist both on Friday evenings as well as other days of the week for prep.
Here's the general schedule:
- Tuesday - Vendor Delivery: unload fish, french fries, potatoes, cooking oil, and other supplies.
- Wednesday - Turn and drain the fish thawing for Friday
- Thursday - Turn and drain the fish. Prepare coleslaw, tartar sauce, and other food for Friday
- Friday Afternoon: Turn and drain the fish. Prepare coleslaw, tartar sauce, and other food for the evening
- FISH FRY - Prepare, cook and serve the food. Keep condiment tables and beverages stocked in FFC hall. Bus tables. Clean up afterwards.
For new members to the Parish, this is a great opportunity to meet other fellow parishioners and be a part of a great event.
Bake Sale Dessert Donations Needed for Fish Fry Fridays!
- We welcome your delicious homemade desserts for the Bake Sale table at our Fish Fry Fridays during Lent! Please drop off cakes, pies, brownies, bars, cookies, or any other sweet treats at the Faith & Family Center by 4 PM on any of the six Fridays. Your generous contributions help support our community!
